In 2016, the United States Mint decided to honor the centennial of three classic American coinage designs. The Winged Liberty (more commonly known as Mercury) design for the dime was the first to be honored.
The coins are slightly smaller than the original, as they are struck on .9999 fine 1/10oz Gold Eagle-sized planchets. However, they still encompass the beauty of Adolph A. Weinman’s original 1916 design.

The coin is a bit smaller than a regular-issue 1916 Standing Liberty quarter, with a diameter of 22mm versus 24.5mm. However, because is is struck in .9999 gold, the coin is heavier at 7.76g versus 6.25g for a normal quarter.
In 2016, the United States Mint decided to honor the centennial of three classic American coinage designs. The Walking Liberty half dollar was the third and final coin design to be replicated.
As is the case with the Mercury Dime and Standing Liberty quarter issues, this coin is a bit smaller than the original, at only 27mm versus the normal 30.66mm of a half dollar.
