2016-W 25C “Centennial 100th Anniversary” American Gold Standing Liberty Quarter SP70 PCGS First Strike
In 2016, the United States Mint decided to honor the centennial of three classic American coinage designs. The Standing Liberty quarter was the second to be honored.
The coin is a bit smaller than a regular-issue 1916 Standing Liberty quarter, with a diameter of 22mm versus 24.5mm. However, because is is struck in .9999 gold, the coin is heavier at 7.76g versus 6.25g for a normal quarter.
